PatagoniaOUR PROGRAMS

  • All the hotels included in our programs have central heating, private bathroom an cable TV. Breakfast is included
  • Entrance fees to Parks an Museums are included (exceptions are specifically indicated)
  • Voluntary tips are not included
  • Travel insurances of any kind, including accident, iluesses, loss of luggage, etc. Are not included. Anyway they can be hired on request
  • Our passengers are kindly requested to protect and to safeguard their luggages and personal belongings
  • Daily itinerary can be modified due to changes in fly schedules or due to climatic conditions.

MEALS
Lunch and dinner, when specified, consist of a menu in accordance with the place and selected hotel. Menu includes: entry, one main course, dessert and one soft drink.

PatagoniaPAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS
Reservations are considered tentative until confirmed when Turismo Milodon receives 30% of the total rate. (Special requeriments for groups fares, according to corresponding hotel policies). Anyway, pending balance must be paid before departure. If cancellation is requested, money will be returned according to hotel or airlines policies (i.e.:airfare can only be returned if a written notice is given to us at least 10 days before projected departure).

PatagoniaCLIMATE IN PATAGONIA
Clear, sunny and windy days predominate in summer, with highs of 15°C (59°F) and lows hovering around 5°C (41°F). Winter highs average 8°C (46°F), lows -2°C (28°F), with occasional snowfalls. Torres del Paine has micro weather which allows to visit the park year around.

WHAT TO BRING
Patagonia goes hand in hand with outdoors. Bring trekking shoes, a windbreaker, chapstick, sunblock, camera, a hat or cap, gloves.

PatagoniaHEALTH
There are no unusual diseases, so no special vaccinations are necessary. There are no poisonous plants or animals. All kind of medicines are widely available. Medical facilities and medical doctors are up to international standards.

SAFETY
The region is remarkably safe for travelers. Common-sense precautions suffice: do not carry large amounts of money on you, keep an eye on bags and cameras. Do not wear expensive jewelry.
