Austral RoadThe Austral Road starts in the city of Puerto Montt and ends in the Southern Ice Fields. It covers over 770 miles filled with natural and unspoilt countryside as well as typical villages and towns of Southern Chile. Driving through the Austral Road invites you to witness diverse landscapes, as its route crosses the Andes Mountain Range and borders the coast and the fjords of western Patagonia. Currently, there is growing tourism in the area which includes fishing lodges, spas and hotels that seamlessly integrate comfort and adventure. |
