Arica & Parinacota (3 days & 2 nights)

Day 1 Arica - Putre   
Visit to Azapa Valley and San Miguel of Azapa Museum, where you may view Chinchorro mummies. Journey continues to Lluta Valley and Candlestick Cactus area. Lunch included. Visit to the pre-inca fortress of Copaquilla and Aymara village of Socoroma. Arrival in Putre. Dinner and lodging at Hotel Kukuli or Terrace Lodge.

Day 2 Surire Salt Lake
Breakfast in hotel. Visit to the altiplanic villages of Ancuta and Guallatire, located 4,000 meters above sea level, at the base of active Guallatire Volcano. Visit to Surire Salt Lake, Chicaya and the hot springs of Polloquere (4,270 meters above sea level). Box-lunch included. Return to Putre. Lodging.

Day 3 Lauca National Park - Arica
Breakfast in hotel. Visit to Bofedal de las Cuevas and trekking to observe wild native animals, such as vicuñas, vizcachas, and bofedales, which are the foundation of the ecosystem in these high plains. We will admire a large variety of birds, including Northern pitios, wild geese  (guallatas), Andean seagulls, pink flamingoes, the giant condor, and different species of ducks. Arrival at Lake Chungará and Cotacotani Lagoons. Trekking and picnic in Parinacota. Visit to the hot springs of Jurasi. Return to Arica approx. at 6pm. End of our services.
