Those who have traveled to the Valle del Elqui carry the memory of a beautiful and peaceful town, ideal to enjoy yourself with the benefits of mother earth, in the form of the Elqui and Claro rivers. To become impregnated with the life of Literature Nobel Prize winner Gabriela Mistral, visiting the museum that bears her name and collect fragments of the life of the poet. All elements of natural wealth that flow into the Valle del Elqui create an environment conducive to the practice of exercise of personal introspection and spiritual healing, is common to find activities to the overall health of body and mind, like yoga, Iridology, among others. However, one of the greatest attractions that the Valle del Elqui has to offer is related to its airy and pure heaven conditions that led to the construction of two major astronomical observatories: the Mamalluca and Cerro Tololo.
